UPTET syllabus 2021 will be released on the official website of the exam along with the release of the notification tentatively in October. However, the UPTET syllabus remains majorly unchanged every year. The UPTET syllabus for paper-I and -II contains the list of subjects and topics from which questions are asked in the teacher eligibility test.

- Paper 1 concentrates on the educational psychology of teaching and learning related to classes 1 to 5.

Ans In both paper-I and -II, one mark is awarded for every correct answer. There is no negative marking for an incorrect answer or a question left unanswered.
Ans Questions asked in UPTET paper-I and II are of Class 12 difficulty level.
Ans The last section (Mathematics and Science/Social Studies) carries maximum weightage of 60 marks.
Ans The UPTET exam is of 150 minutes (2.5 hours) duration.
Ans No, candidates who plan to teach Classes 1-5 need to give paper-I. On the other hand, candidates who plan to teach Classes 6-8 need to appear for paper-II. Candidates who plan to teach Classes 1-8 need to take both the papers.
