The process is done in 3 stages :

To prepare for the ASI Guide Recruitment Exam 2025, I would advise you to build your knowledge of Indian history, art, and culture through your NCERT books and some of the standard reference books. P
ractice the General Awareness, Reasoning, and English Language using the SSC-level mock tests.
Read materials about all the major monuments under the protection of ASI and also, current affairs related to heritage conservation. It would also help you to solved previous year question papers so that you understand the exam.
Your revision should be consistent and you need to acquire a habit of time-bound practice. You need to have this practice before doing the actual exam to achieve a good score.
