The Chandigarh University organizes its own university admission test called CUCET. This university is a private institution which is located in Chandigarh, Punjab. - For IT & Software courses: B.Sc. Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Computer application (MCA).

Chandigarh University Admission 2021 Important Dates
The registration for the university will begin from the third week of October 2020 and the last date for the registration is 4th week of December 2020. The CUCET-I examination will be held in the first week of November to 4th week of December 2020. The result will be declared in the first week of January 2021.
Chandigarh University 2021 Application Form
The application form will be released in the third week October 2020. Candidates can fill the application forms online as well as offline. For offline mode candidates will have to buy CUCET brochures cum form from university admission offices authorized centers by paying application fee. At the time of registration the candidates will have to choose the test center and date of examination from the available options. The candidates will have to fill all the fields correctly in the application form and will have to give the email id and phone number.

Application Fee
Candidates will be able to pay the fee online or offline. For online payment candidates can use credit card, debit card or net banking and for offline payment candidates will have to pay the fee through demand draft. Rs. 1000 is the application fee for all the candidates. The application fee once payed is non-refundable.
Chandigarh University 2021 Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech
- Qualification: Candidates must qualify 12thlevel examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for examination.
- Percentage: He/ she must score minimum 50% marks(45% for SC/ ST) in the qualifying exam to be eligible for examination.
- Mandatory Subject: Candidates must have Physics & Chemistry as their mandatory subject along with any one from Chemistry/ Bio-technology/ Computer Science/ Biology in their qualifying exam.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply for examination.

- Qualification: Candidates must qualify intermediate examinationfrom any recognized board or university.
- Percentage: He/ she must score atleast 50% marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible for examination.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply for examination.
For MCA
- Qualification: Candidates must qualify 12thlevel examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for examination.
- Percentage: He/ she must score minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) in the qualifying exam to be eligible for examination.
- Mandatory subject: Candidates must have Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics/ Quantitative Techniques as one of the subject in qualifying exam.

- Qualification: Candidates must either qualify their bachelor’s degree or must be appearing in final year in year 2021 to be eligible for examination.
Chandigarh University 2021 Admission Procedure
The admission will be done on the basis of performance in the academics/ national level examination scores/university level test scores. Admission will be offered to the candidates on the basis of their performance. Merit list and admission process will all be prepared by the university. Chandigarh University 2021 Merit List
The merit list will be prepared for each course separately. The merit list will be based on candidate’s academic records and national examination. Candidates will have to access their merit list as per the course they have selected for admission. Only those students will take part in the counseling process who have qualified in the merit list issued by the university.
Chandigarh University 2021 Counseling
