Central Defence Service Entrance Exam

The Central Defence Service Entrance (CDS) Exam is organised by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) for vacancies in the field of defense services. The Central Defense Services Entrance Exam is held twice a year. It is a written test followed by Intelligence and Personality Test.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test

The Nationwide wide Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is organised by CBSE to scan the eligibility for appointment as a teacher for classes I – VIII. Two papers are to be given, one for teacher eligibility for class 1-5 and paper two for eligibility for teacher from class 6-8.The paper consists of multiple choice questions.

UPSC Civil Services

The prestigious Civil Services Examination is conducted once a year by the UPSC to select officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others. The Civil Services Examination is held in three stages–preliminary, mains and interview. The Civil Services Preliminary Examination for the selection of candidates for the Main Examination; and the Civil Services Main Examination  for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts.

 

Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Exam

The Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Exam (HSEE) is organised for admission to the Five year Integrated Master of Arts (M.A) at IIT Madras. This programme encourages students to engage in critical thinking and research on ideas, people, society and the human condition. HSEE takes place to admit students to this programme in two streams; Integrated M.A. in Development Studies and Integrated M.A. in English Studies.

Probationary Officer written test

IBPS and SBI conducts Common Written Exams for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Public Sector Banks and State Bank of India, respectively. IBPS conducts Common Examination for recruitment of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees has been approved by each of the 22 participating Public Sector Banks and the Managing Committee of the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) with the consent of the Government of India.
