NEET 2021: Importance of Solving Previous Year’s Papers-

Understanding the Exam Pattern

When it comes to understanding the exam pattern there is no better guide than the question papers of the previous years. They help you understand the type of questions that can be asked from a topic in NEET 2021. In-depth analysis of the question papers will help you judge which topics are important.

Time Management and Speed

According to the exam pattern of NEET, you have to solve 180 questions in 3 hours (180 minutes). To attempt the maximum number of questions on the examination day, one need to achieve the speed. NEET question papers of previous years and mock tests are to be solved in a duration of 3 hours. Setting a timer while solving these will help you achieve this speed.

Accuracy

Solving NEET question papers and mock tests will not only help you with time management but will also help improve your accuracy. To get good results, one must achieve accuracy and considerable speed.

Confidence

It is common for students to feel nervous or anxious before or during the examination. But, according to the exam day experiences shared by various students, ones who have solved NEET question papers of previous years and mock tests feel confident as compared to those who relied only on books.

Preparation Analysis & Performance Evaluation

Solving the question papers and mock tests on your own will also help you analyze your preparation. After every mock test, invest time in analyzing the results. Your preparation may be rock solid and you may have read everything, but there will be questions/ topics which prevent you from getting a perfect score. Analyzing the results of mock tests will help you strengthen these areas and will help improve your performance on the exam day.
