Selection Process for RRB NTPC 2025 :
The selection criteria is based on different stages which are discussed below ,
Stage 1- Computer Based Test (CBT)
It is a online test used to shortlist the candidates for second round. The test consists of 100 questions (1 marker each) from domains like General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Duration of test is 90 minutes.
Stage 2 – Computer Based Text (CBT)
This one is the more advanced version of stage1. Exam consists of 120 questions (1 mark each) from the same sections. Exam duration is of 90 minutes and helps in determining merit ranking and shortlisting for skill tests or document verification.
Stage 3 – Typing Skill Test/ CBT(post specific)
For posts like Clerk, candidates must type 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi without editing tools. (typing test) For posts like Station Master, includes logical, decision-making, and psychometric tests.(aptitude test)
Stage 4 – Document Verification
This process is done to confirm the authenticity of the candidate. It includes verification of all legal document educational qualifications, identity proof, category certificates, etc.
Stage 5 – Medical Examination
