Teachers Recruitment Board(TRB) Chennai:  Teachers Recruitment Board(TRB) has earlier announced an online application for the various post vacancies through direct Recruitment. The official notification, released for the vacancies on 26/02/2021, and the date of Examination has also been scheduled on 27/08/2021.  On 31/03/2021, TRB again released an official notification, informing about the cancellation of the online application portal. The vacancies were opened for the post of Special Teachers( Craft Instructor,(sewing), Art Master, Music Teacher, Physical Education Teacher).

TRB Recruitment 2021/Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Craft Instructor(Sewing): A certificate in needlework and dressmaking (Higher Grade) and Embroidery (Higher Grade) /Diploma in costume Designing and Dress makings issued by the Board of Technical Education and Training, Chennai/Industrial School Certificate and Technical Teacher’s certificate.
2. Art Master: Degree with Drawing and Painting of a recognized University/ Diploma in Painting/ Diploma in Fine Arts/Degree in Fine Arts issued by other Universities.
3. Music Teacher: Degree with Music of a recognized University/Diploma in Music Teaching awarded by the Director of Government Examinations.
4. Physical Education Teacher: Higher Secondary (Class XII or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks from recognized board/ Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary examination (+2) or its equivalent and have participated in sports/games at least school/college/district level in accordance with the and NationalCouncil for Teacher Education/ Diploma.

Age Limit:

•  The maximum age of the eligible candidate should be 40 years.

Application Fee:

1. For all categories (except SC/ST/SCA/Differently abled people) – Rs.500/–
2. For SC/ST/SCA Category and Differently abled people- Rs.250/-
3.  The application fee will be charged including Service Charges.
